Shipping Policy

At Toowoomba Plastics Polytanks, we pride ourselves on reliable, timely delivery of our products. This policy outlines how we handle shipping and delivery for both our rainwater tanks and automotive tanks.
Rainwater Tanks
Delivery Areas and Costs
- Free delivery within a 120km radius of our factory at 1 Civil Court, Harlaxton QLD 4350.
- Deliveries outside the 120km radius are available for an additional charge, quoted at the time of ordering.
- We do not ship rainwater tanks overseas.
Production and Delivery Timeframes
Estimated production and delivery times begin after full payment is received:
- 25,000L tanks: approx. 3–4 weeks
- 10,000L and 5,000L tanks: approx. 1–2 weeks
- 1,000L tanks: approx. 3–4 days (pickup only, unless ordering 3 or more tanks in one order)
The above timelines are a guide and a timeframe and delivery date will be confirmed during order processing.
Delivery Method
- Rainwater tanks are delivered by our own driver using our delivery vehicle.
- Delivery includes placing the tank at an accessible location on your property but does not include installation.
- Tanks are placed on level ground as directed by the customer.
Delivery Requirements
To ensure smooth delivery:
- The site must be accessible to a large truck.
- Driveways, gates, and access points must have sufficient clearance.
- The customer (or representative) must be present to confirm the delivery location.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, unsafe conditions, or no one being present, a re-delivery fee may apply.
Risk and Liability
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery to the agreed location.
- If damage occurs during delivery by our driver, we will replace the tank at no cost.
Pickup Option
Customers may collect tanks directly from our factory by prior arrangement.
- A replacement or refund for a major failure.
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- Repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Automotive Underbody Tanks
Delivery Areas and Costs
- We deliver automotive tanks Australia-wide.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for online orders or quoted for phone/email orders.
- We do not ship automotive tanks overseas.
Dispatch and Delivery Timeframes
- Most automotive tanks are in stock and ready for same-day or next-day dispatch.
- Delivery time depends on your location and the freight provider’s schedule.
Delivery Method
- Automotive tanks are shipped via Aramex, Australia Post, or Direct Freight Express.
- A tracking number will be provided where available.
Risk and Liability
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.
- If the product is damaged in transit, we will replace it at no cost once the damage is reported and confirmed.
