Refund & Returns Policy

Ward 2 Pty Ltd trading as Toowoomba Plastics Polytanks (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to providing quality products and complying with the Australian Consumer Law. This policy explains when you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

• A replacement or refund for a major failure.
• Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
• Repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

When We Offer Refunds, Replacements or repairs

We will provide a refund, repair, or replacement if:

• The product is faulty or defective.
• The wrong item or fittings were supplied.
• The product was damaged in transit (and reported promptly).

When we do not offer refunds or replacements

We do not provide refunds or replacements if:

• You change your mind after purchase.
• You provide incorrect specifications or fitting placement details for made-to-order rainwater tanks.

Made-to-order products

• All rainwater tanks are made to order, based on your chosen colour and fitting placement.
• Because of this, we cannot accept returns for reasons unrelated to defects or our error.
• Automotive tanks are not custom-made and follow standard return terms.

How to make a claim

To lodge a warranty or return claim:

• Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
• Supply photos or evidence of the fault/damage.
• Contact us via phone or email to discuss the issue.
• We will assess your claim and advise on the next steps.

Who Pays for return shipping

• If the product is faulty or the wrong item was supplied, we cover all freight and delivery costs for the replacement.
• For rainwater tanks, we will deliver the replacement ourselves within our delivery area.
• For automotive tanks, we will cover freight for the replacement to be shipped to you.

Time Limits for Claims

• Rainwater Tanks: Covered by a 10-year warranty; claims may be made at any time during this period.
• Automotive Tanks: 12 months from purchase date.
