Recycled Material Is Not Used in Our Rainwater Tanks
Toowoomba Plastics Polytanks does not use recycled plastic in the manufacture of new rainwater tanks. All of our rainwater tanks are manufactured using new, food-grade, water-safe polyethylene. Plastic recovered through our old tank removal service is processed separately and supplied for use in other suitable recycled-plastic applications.
When you purchase a new rainwater tank from Toowoomba Plastics Polytanks, we can remove your old polyethylene tank when the new one is delivered.
There is no need to cut it up, hire a skip bin or arrange separate disposal. We will return the old tank to our Toowoomba facility, where it will be processed and used in new products suitable for recycled material.

A Simple Way to Replace Your Old Tank
Old rainwater tanks can be difficult and expensive to dispose of. Our removal service allows you to have your old tank taken away at the same time your new Toowoomba Plastics tank is delivered.
How It Works
- Purchase a new rainwater tank from Toowoomba Plastics Polytanks.
- Tell us that you would like your old tank removed.
- Make sure the old tank meets the collection conditions.
- We deliver your new tank and collect the old polyethylene tank.
- The old tank is returned to our facility for recycling.
